Morgan is a Field Sampling Technician/Senior Education and Relations Officer with IISD Experimental Lakes Area.

She is currently completing a master’s degree in biological sciences at the University of Manitoba, studying environmental DNA and its ability to monitor lake sturgeon movement and spawning events using mitochondrial and nuclear DNA in Manitoba.

Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from the University of Windsor in Behaviour, Cognition and Neuroscience, which involved an undergraduate thesis on whether windowed tanks affect stress-related metrics within captively-bred lake sturgeon.
